Driver dies after rear-ending vehicle on Highway 42 in southern Minnesota

A 22-year-old man was killed after rear-ending an SUV on Freeway 42 in Wabasha County on Friday, in accordance with the Minnesota State Patrol.

The crash report states the incident occurred round 4:10 p.m. on Freeway 42 at milepost 25 in Kellogg, a metropolis about 30 miles northeast of Rochester. There have been three autos concerned within the collision.

In keeping with the report, the 22-year-old driver was heading southbound on Freeway 42 when he rear-ended an SUV. The 22-year-old died because of the crash. The automotive’s airbags didn’t deploy, and it’s unknown if the motive force was sporting a seatbelt on the time.

Then, a second car heading southbound rear-ended the identical SUV. The driving force suffered non life-threatening accidents and was taken to St. Mary’s hospital in Rochester. The state patrol stated it is unknown if the motive force was sporting a seatbelt on the time.

The 81-year-old driver within the SUV that was rear-ended didn’t undergo any accidents, in accordance with the report. 

The Minnesota State Division didn’t present particulars on what led as much as the crash. The highway circumstances have been dry, and alcohol was not thought of an element, the report states.
