City of Milwaukee Christmas tree to be harvested Tuesday
MILWAUKEE – Metropolis of Milwaukee officers and the Division of Public Works Forestry Providers Division is harvesting the annual Metropolis Christmas Tree on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
The 31-foot Colorado Blue Spruce is being donated by Erwin Boehme from his house positioned on 58th Road close to Lloyd.
Following the harvest, the tree will obtain a Milwaukee Police Division escort to downtown the place it will likely be positioned outdoors Fiserv Discussion board.
The Metropolis of Milwaukee Christmas Tree at Deer District – Illuminated by We Energies might be on show starting with a public tree lighting ceremony on Nov. 18.
The tree might be adorned by DPW Forestry workers in preparation for the lighting.

2022 marks the 109th 12 months of the Christmas tree lighting in Milwaukee, the longest operating official tree in the USA apart from New York Metropolis’s.
For the 2022 Metropolis Christmas Tree Harvest, the Metropolis of Milwaukee is once more partnering with Black Husky Brewing.
