Kansas woman killed in rollover crash west of Phillipsburg

PHILLIPSBURG, Kan. (KSNW) – A 49-year-old Logan lady was killed in a rollover west of Phillipsburg on Thursday morning.

In accordance with the Kansas Freeway Patrol, the crash occurred on Phillips County Street 1000 about 3 miles south of U.S. Freeway 36 round 7:40.

A 2004 Ford Escape pushed by 49-year-old Hollie L. Kendall was shifting to the appropriate shoulder for an oncoming pickup. As an alternative, her SUV started to skid throughout the gravel and overturned.

The KHP report says Kendall was ejected from the car. She wasn’t carrying her seatbelt, in keeping with the report.
