Indiana National Guard joins other local agencies for Hurricane Ian recovery efforts

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana Nationwide Guard will be a part of a number of different native companies in lending a hand in response to Hurricane Ian.

Greater than a dozen Indiana Nationwide Guard troopers will head to Florida on Thursday morning to assist with hurricane reduction and restoration efforts.

The troopers will probably be joined by three flight crews and mechanics, together with two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters to help navy and civilian companies.
