Here are the finalists for Indiana teacher of the year

The highest 10 finalists have been introduced for the 2023 Indiana Instructor of the 12 months. For over 60 years, the Indiana Division of Training has chosen one trainer for the glory who has gone above and past to assist and educate Hoosier college students. 

Finalists for the award are chosen by a committee of former academics of the yr, IDOE workers, greater schooling representatives, in addition to schooling and neighborhood leaders.  

That is the second yr the state has chosen a Instructor of the 12 months for the reason that COVID-19 pandemic started. The state collectively named all Indiana academics recipients of the 2021 award in recognition of the disrupted faculty yr. Sharita Ware of the Tippecanoe College Company was awarded the title for 2022. 

The Indiana Instructor of the 12 months will work to assist elevate the educating career in Indiana, in addition to symbolize Hoosier educators at a nationwide stage.
