Vic Mensa launches first Black-owned weed brand, available in Illinois
CHICAGO – After two years of authorized hashish in Illinois, the primary native Black-owned model is hitting dispensary cabinets.
Musician and activist Vic Mensa is co-owner of the model of pre-rolled joints known as 93 Boyz.
Mensa stated his authorized hashish model is an effort to undo some injury carried out in the course of the warfare on medicine.

“We’re donating part of our proceeds to our neighborhood. The neighborhood most impacted by the warfare on medicine. The best way we’re launching it with a program known as ‘Books earlier than Bars,” stated Mensa.
‘Books earlier than Bars’ sends books to incarcerated individuals.
