The Maine Nordiques defeated the Maryland Black Bears 4-3.
The game on Saturday, February 28, 2025 was all square after two periods but in the third Maine managed to pull out a win.

The Black Bears made it 2-1 midway through the second period when

beat the goalie.
The Nordiques made it 2-2 with a goal from Zion Green.
The Nordiques took the lead, only 48 seconds into the third when Usko Laaksonen scored, assisted by

made it 4-2 with a goal four minutes later, assisted by

Estabrook says Mother’s Day tends to be a great kickoff to the spring season.
