A New Hampshire teen is in custody for allegedly shooting at a vehicle as he drove out of a Home Depot parking lot in Tewksbury earlier this month, police said Monday.
Khale Guillou,19, of Swanzey, was arrested last week on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm without a license, assault and battery with a firearm, and vandalization of property, Tewksbury police said in a statement.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges during his arraignment on July 23 in Lowell District Court, court records show.
He was ordered held, pending a dangerousness hearing on July 23. At that hearing, he was found dangerous and ordered held at the Middlesex County House of Correction, court records state.
He is due back in court on Aug. 16.
Guillou was arrested on a warrant issued out of Lowell District Court charging him with the shooting that occurred around 5 a.m. on July 15.
Police investigators determined that a blue Nissan Rogue and a silver Mazda, had left Home Deport traveling south on Main Street.
As they drove onto the roadway, a person in the silver Mazda fired several shots at the Nissan and then fled, police said.
No injuries were reported, and police determined that the people inside both vehicles knew each other and that the shooting was not random.
Tewksbury police worked with State Police in Massachusetts and New Hampshire to identify Guillou as a suspect, police said.
The shooting remains under investigation.
